Steve started out as a Mobile Disc Jockey for fun his first job in a local public house in London covering for a friend one night only, this turned into a year working two nights a week. Most of his Disco work was private functions in local venues as a London DJ not forgetting parties for friends and relatives, he was offered a berth on Radio Caroline the pirate broadcasting ship turned it down to audition at the Bon-Bonne Soul Night Club on the out skirts of Brixton he was successful and stayed five years also working at La Val Bon and the Whisky a Go Go Club, those were two of the top London Soho Discos.

 

Over the years Steve built up an excellent reputation as a Club and Party Disco DJ, was he exceptionaly good at playing music for his clients wedding receptions which is still Steve's biggest customer base also birthday parties, retirement and corporate events he was in such demand that he started to turn away functions it was at this time 1988 he joined the Wedding Guild in Kent a group of fellow professionals selling other types of services to the wedding industry staying for three years leaving to spend more time getting into the corporate side of entertainment.

 

Having a lot of success working for well known companies in the City of London in the Livery Halls and Top Hotels on a regular basis, the corporate disco side of Toffs Mobile Discotheques has become very successful. Steve also got a taste for alternative music for instance he does a Burns-Night every year a St Patrick's-Night and has a selection of Bhangra, Greek, Turkish, Latin, Salsa, Spanish, South-American, Soca, Reggie, Lovers-Rock in fact if you have any other requirements just give ask.

 

Steve St John started supplying PA Systems for London corporate quiz nights where the company supplied their own quiz it was a great success, however several of the companies asked Steve to supply the quiz as well this he did and it has also become successful,  Steve will be happy to arrange a quiz night to suit you visit Toffs UK quiz & party night or Toffs Kent quiz & party night
